Take Your First Steps to Better Running and Walking!

Our staff are all trained to go beyond the numbers to find your perfect shoe fit by considering the whole you. Shoe fitting machines are effective at defining your foot structure at rest--and that's it. Finding your perfect fit requires more than a singular aspect. After all, your whole body moves as a unit. Whether you're a runner, walker, gym rat, or just looking for comfort, our first step is learning about you. Your foot structure & stride pattern are crucial, but so too are your goals, form, training volume & intensity, aches & injury history, gait mechanics and more!

We'll identify key foot metrics of structure, length, static width, width under pressure, and strike pattern and look for foot callusing or trauma such as bruised toenails. Using our experience and expertise, we'll watch your movements to see which footwear features will cooperate best with your body.

Next, we'll review your running form dynamics. This involves walking and jogging in our spacious store as we analyze your mechanics, strength, and posture to determine how your form affects your overall running efficiency and comfort. Studying your movement without shoes helps us determine how your foot and ankle deal with impact during the gait cycle. We'll identify five 5 key variables: bone structure, foot rotation, pronation, stature, and foot shape. These elements, combined with elements from step two, provide the starting point for selecting the best shoe types and potential insoles to help you run happier and help minimize injury risks.

DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
No! You'll always find an experienced team member on-site and available for a shoe fitting, advice, and anything else you may need to make the selection process easy and stress-free!

IS THERE A COST?
No, shoe fitting is the most important part of running shoe shopping and we are proud to provide our expertise!

DO I NEED TO BE A RUNNER?
Absolutely not. In fact, we are so much more than a running store. Our shoe fitting process helps everyone from runners to walkers to anyone on their feet all day. We can help anyone get the right shoe fit!

WHAT'S YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Love it or return it within 30 days for refund or exchange.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Whatever you have on will work! Many of our customers choose to wear work out gear, but every day we have people come dressed for work or in jeans. You will not be asked to do anything strenuous or cause you to sweat. We will also have an assortment of try on socks for you as well.
